Deep red miniature poodle

Freddie is a beautiful deep red miniature poodle registered with the Kennel Club. He has a number of champions in his bloodlines.

He is very handsome and people always comment on his deep colouring when I am out on walks with him. Similarly, when they meet him, everyone loves his temperament- he is sociable, fun and just wonderful!

Freddie lives with us in our family home with our children and other dogs. He is very sociable and has a wonderful temperament.

I would say that Freddie is one of the few miniature poodles in the country who has had all the health tests recommended by the Kennel Club.

Freddie has been DNA tested clear (by Laboklin) for the following genetic conditions:
*Degenerative Myelopathy (EXON 2)
*Neonatal Encephalopathy (NE)
*Von Willebrand disease (Type I)
* rcd4 PRA/LOPRA
*prcd PRA

He has also been tested (clear) for
Osteochondrodysplasia.

He has also had his BVA eye test carried out in March 2024 by an ophamologist. This shows he is clear of any issues. This is a test recommended by the Kennel club and lasts for 12 months though it is one that very few miniature poodle studs have.

In 2025, the Kennel Club also introduced the requirement for hip scoring for miniature poodles. Freddie has now had his hips scored and has an excellent result which is below breed average (the Kennel Club suggest that you only breed from a dog that is breed average or below breed average).

Freddie has sired a number of beautiful litters. He knows his job and is very gentle and respectful.

I am an experienced and knowledgeable stud owner. I also own another proven KC registered miniature poodle (also red). I am happy to guide you through the pregnancy and answer any questions you have.

£350 stud fee. This covers up to two matings. We are very flexible and can often accommodate matings at short notice.

You will be provided with a copy of all of his health test certificates to show your puppy buyers.

All matings will be carried out in our enclosed garden where your girl will be given the time she needs to run around and play with Freddie and feel comfortable. I am an ethical stud owner and want to ensure that the mating is natural and relaxed aswell as supervised and safe. I can provide references if you would like as many owners have messaged me with lovely comments on their positive and relaxed experience.
